About the founder

Meet Daniel Kiracofe: building a future where rotordynamics analysis is quick and easy

I spent a decade at GE Aviation where we had our own rotordynamics codes written in-house. Then I moved to a small startup, and started to look around for what rotordynamic codes were available commercially.

Every software I tried either had a painfully hard to use interface that looked like it was written in 1995 and never updated since, or else it was extremely expensive. That frustration led to the creation of First Critical, LLC.

I started this company with one mission: to make user friendly rotordynamics analysis software available to those that don't have the resources of Fortune 500 company.

My previous experience writing cloud based simulation applications during my graduate research led me to write FC Rotor, and I am passionate about bringing that solution to you.
